Empress parasols are built on a 38mm mast pole and incorporate the special paul Reef features of unbreakable Spar and Hub blocks. A full 4-pulley corded system is incorporated for ease of raising and lowering the canopy. All canopies are made from 285g Spun Polyester. The precision engineered pole joint socket developed by Paul Reef especially for the Empress and Princess ranges provide a threaded screw system for the pole joint that has great strength and durability.

The pole joint socket is totally sheathed in a heavy solid brass tube section. Parasol base supplied separately. We recommend a 16kg base if used with suitable table and a 32kg base if free standing. If the parasol is being used in an open windy area a 50kg base would be more suitable.
